About The School

Brookhill Elementary is a K-4 school. Our school has a staff of thirty-eight. We are located in southeast Athens. Brookhill is a Southern Association accreditated school. Our active Parent-Teacher-Friends organization plays a strong role in supporting our programs. We work closely with the business community through our participation in the Adopt-a School Program. Our current Partner-in-Education is First American Bank.

Brookhill Elementary students have constantly scored well on state mandated tests. Our school has been a member of the Alabama Beginning Reading Model for the past three years. The program has enabled our students to move closer to meeting benchmarks set for all grade levels. It is our belief that providing intervention strategies as early as possible for our students will lead to producing better readers. The success that our students have experienced in reading is directly related to a dedicated staff, community, and parent partnership.
