I have been teaching since 1987. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade. I have been teaching first grade at Brookhill Elementary School since 2005.

I am married to Mike Young and we have three sons Brian, J.T. and Trent. We love sports at our house. I am a huge Athens Golden Eagle fan. I enjoy teaching first grade. If I can teach a child to read I can open up the whole world to them.
